PUBLIC DISCUSSION: PRESENTATION OF THE CODE OF PROFESSIONAL ETHICS AND PRACTICES
On November 22, Georgian Association for Public Opinion Research holds a public discussion about the Code of Professional Ethics and Practices

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Ilia State University and USAID/Georgia Human and Institutional Capacity Development jointly supported the development of the Code of Professional Ethics and Practices. International and Georgian researchers contributed to its development.
Georgian Association for Public Opinion Research is a professional community that aims at assisting researchers and research organizations in conducting public opinion and other scientific researches in accordance with professional, quality, and high ethical standards.
Discussion topics include: professional responsibilities and obligations of a researcher and research organization; general principles of professional practices; disclosure items for public opinion polls and qualitative research. Edison Research will review its exit polls conducted in Georgia as the case study of high-quality research.
Keynote speakers include the members of the Georgian Association for Public Opinion Research, the representatives of research organizations and researchers.
